Digital Destiny employs gameplay footage from Red Dead Redemption 2 to interrogate the moral, historical, and mythological frameworks embedded in narratives of territorial conquest.
The work brings the game’s protagonist to the outermost edge of the playable map, attempting to glitch beyond the authorized boundaries into an unfinished rendering of Mexico, an incongruous space coded into the game but excluded from its final release. Exposing the hidden architectures of exclusion and the imagined geographies that shape both virtual and national landscapes.
